A gas spring assembly includes a gas spring (10) enclosed within a flexible, liquid-impermeable protective sleeve (24). The sleeve protects the gas spring against contamination during painting and pre-paint processes, and is then removable to leave the gas spring as a permanent component of the installation subject to the painting. |
