The invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in laying-out, maintenance and operation of overhead power transmission lines.The technical aim of the invention is to develop a method of protection against breakdown having a device for voltage regulation of electric field simple in operation without treating cut edges of cable sheaths.In the inventive method cables are stripped from jute, armor, sheath, semiconducting paper using prior art technology, the semiconducting paper is torn off 3 mm from cable sheath cut. The end of each cable is wound by several turns of insulation tape having high specific resistance and high dielectric strength, overlapping cable sheath by 20 mm with tape width 50mm. A tape with high dielectric constant and 30 mm wide is wound on the edge of the tape from the side of other cable and further cabling is continued. |
