The device has a temperature detector connected to an infrared radiation transceiver with an optical filter, a high frequency transceiver and a luminous type danger warning unit (15). The warning unit is disposed laterally of the device and triggered automatically when a predetermined temperature threshold is attained. A rechargeable batter pack supplies the temperature detector.
