The base has a protective cover (2) covering contact blades (B-E) corresponding to connectors of an electrical heating appliance (1). One of the connectors of the appliance is a prominent central rod (A`) that penetrates inside a central opening (3) of the protective cover and pushes a lever inside the base to establish a contact of the blades with a grid supply. An independent claim is also included for an electrical heating device including a supply base and an electrical heating appliance.
