PROCESS FOR PRODUCING NONWOVEN FABRIC OF ULTRAFINE FILAMENT

Convenient process for producing a nonwoven fabric of ultrafine filament with high molecular orientation through simple and easy means from all types of thermoplastic polymers without the need to employ any special high-precision/high-level apparatus. In particular, there is provided a process for producing a nonwoven fabric of in vivo decomposed absorbed polymer or biodegradable polymer whose drawability has been poor, wherein raw filaments are heated by infrared beams, drawn under tension regulation by the use of an air blow pipe, and piled on a conveyor.
