DATA PROCESSOR

摘要

An edit process by which an edit process time of a data stream can be shortened. A data processor writes and reads contents data by a unit region of a recording medium. In the unit region, a plurality of packets storing the contents data are recorded. The data processor is provided with a reproducing section for reading a plurality of packets; a control section for dividing the contents data stored from an (n+1)th packet to an (n+m)th packet (n and m are integers of 1 or more) and storing the contents data in a plurality of packets from a first packet to the (n+m)th packet; and a recording section for writing the packets including the first packet to the (n+m)th packet in the unit region.
