<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preventive agent little causing environmental pollution with hardly affecting bad effects to salmons and trout. <P>SOLUTION: The agent for preventing Ichtyobodo of salmons and trout contains a tea extract. The method for preventing Ichtyobodo of salmons and trout includes a process for preventing Ichtyobodo, a parasite of salmons and trout, by using the preventive agent. The tea extract is used to suppress or inhibit growth of Ichtyobodo, the parasite of salmons and trout.
