<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery which solve the problem of the decrease in the cycle characteristics of the lithium secondary battery, caused by the continuous film formation on an anode by the decomposition reaction of the nonaqueous electrolyte, and have a high capacity and is excellent in cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery has a lithium salt and a nonaqueous solvent, and contains at least one inorganic compound selected from the group consisting of HNO<SB>3</SB>, H<SB>2</SB>SO<SB>4</SB>and HClO<SB>4</SB>, thereby improving the cycle characteristics of a lithium secondary battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
