<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed double-side recording by using a special ink composed of a high-viscosity ink prepared in consideration of a permeation/drying process of plain paper, in a double-side inkjet recording method and a double-side inkjet recording apparatus, which eliminate waiting time for drying and prevent a deterioration in image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus performs recording by an ink droplet jetted for performing color printing. The ink, which contains at least a coloring agent, a wetting agent, ≥8C polyol or glycol ether, an anionic or nonionic surface active agent, a water-soluble organic solvent and water, has the characteristics of a 5 wt% or more coloring agent concentration and a 6 cps (25°C) or more ink viscosity. The inkjet recording apparatus, which is equipped with the ink as at least one of special color inks of red, green and blue, added to four basic colors, that is, cyan, magenta, yellow and black, performs the double-side recording by using a paper carrying mechanism corresponding to automatic double-side printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
