<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous capture method, capable of obtaining synchronous capturing for measurements with high speed, high accuracy, and high reliability, using only a measurement channel, and to provide a device thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A reception timing candidate is classified to 150 groups with a frame head symbol number as a reference. Partial correlation between a code of each reception timing candidate and a reception wave is estimated in succession, to obtain power delay profile for each reception timing candidate. The object of the partial correlation is of 256 chip length. Subsequently, reception timing providing the maximum peak is retrieved among the power delay profiles of the candidates so obtained, and resulting reception timing is regarded as the reception timing of the measurement channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
