<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide slimming pants positively promoting energy consumption at the time of muscular contraction so as to have excellent slimming effect. <P>SOLUTION: The slimming pants P comprise a stretchable pants which are worn so as to be tight to the body of a wearer. The fabric covering the muscle moving the skeleton of the body from outside is structured so that the stretchability in a direction across the muscle fibers is made lower than that in a direction along the muscle fiber of the muscle.
