<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner not requiring periodic maintenance to have improved convenience by automatically cleaning an air filter. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with: the air filter collecting dust in the air; a suction nozzle removing the dust of the air filter; a cumulative operation time detection means detecting a cumulative operation time of the air conditioner; and an indoor control part deciding the cumulative operation time detected by the cumulative operation time detection means.
