PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an auxiliary cord for a sash for Japanese clothes intended for solving such problems that there is a folding method as an attaching method for utilizing at maximum the length of a sash for Japanese clothes, and the method comprises attaching only through tying a cord of a sash bustle and a sash band without tying or twisting a sash main body, so there causes troubles such as looseness of a sash or falling by the weight of a sash to give a wearer extremely uncomfortable feeling. SOLUTION: This auxiliary cord for a sash for Japanese clothes is obtained by putting a hard and lightweight stick-like object into a cylindrical cord, stitching both the ends of the product, and folding one end followed by stitching to a position through which the cord passes on the other end.
