PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container, of which maintenance work is easily performed even if a flow passage is clogged, and in which adverse effects on the flow passage due to preheating can be prevented and compressed air never gets into the flow passage. SOLUTION: The container is provided with a frame having a first opening at the upper part, a lid having a second opening which is smaller in diameter than the first opening and is attached to the flame so as to cover the first opening, a hatch which is attached to the lid so as to enable opening or closing of the second opening, a first refractory layer which is provided inside the flame and has heat conductivity, a heat insulating layer which is inserted between the flame and the refractory layer, and a first piping. The refractory layer has a flow passage therein extending from a position near the inside bottom of the container to a piping-attached part at the upper surface side of the container and fills a zone separating the flow passage from a space where molten aluminum in the container is stored. At least a part of the flow passage is surrounded by the second piping. The first piping is connected to the piping-attached portion and an outlet-inlet at the front end faces downward.
