PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advective baffle for preventing the collapse of scum and a sewage septic tank having the advective baffle. SOLUTION: The sewage septic tank is provided with: an outer tank; an anaerobic treatment tank which is arranged in the outer tank and has a function of regulating a flow rate; and the advective baffle for advecting sewage to the anaerobic treatment tank from a sewage inlet of the outer tank. The advective baffle has a bottom surface and a side wall which is erected in the periphery of the bottom surface and on which an inflow port of sewage and an outflow port are arranged. The position of the outflow port to be arranged is made lower than that of the inflow port in the vertical direction. In the horizontal direction, the outflow port is arranged in a portion of the side wall to be parted from the portion where an inflow locus of the sewage flowing in from the inflow port and the side wall are made to cross each other.
