PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening structure for a rotor shaft which can prevent excessive stress from being generated in the shaft and a rotor core while raising the manufacture efficiency of the rotor shaft and besides can raise the cooling efficiency of the rotor shaft. SOLUTION: A groove 20 extending axially is formed outside the shaft 11, and the shaft 11 is press-fitted into the rotor core 12 while making edges 20E on both sides of the groove 20 bite into the internal perimeter of the rotor core 12, and also a high-heat-conductive soft sheet 30 in contact with both of the rotor core 12 and the shaft 11 is arranged in the grove 20, whereby the rotor core 12 can be press-fitted directly in the shaft 11 with less contact area of the shaft 11, and bondability in its rotational direction is raised by the edges 20E on both the sides of the groove 20 biting into the internal perimeter of the rotor core 12, and further heat conductivity between the shaft 11 and the rotor core 12 is raised by the heat conductive member 30 thereby raising the cooling efficiency of the rotor shaft 10.
