PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for provide a power supply even under such situation as during power failure. SOLUTION: A lighting assembly includes a light source 54, a generator 62 for supplying electric currents to the light source 54, and a manual actuator assembly interlocking with the generator 62. The manual actuator assembly has a handle for worker 68 equipped with a rotatable shaft 70 and movable between normal position and operating position, a spring assembly connected to the handle for worker 68, and a drive row 64 connected to the spring assembly and a rotor of the generator 62, and causing the rotor to rotate. The spring assembly has a reel attached to the shaft 70, and a tape spring connected to the reel. When the handle for worker 68 is moved toward the operating position, the reel rotates in positive direction, the tape spring is wound around the reel, thus impelling the reel and the shaft 70 in returning direction.
