PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform detection of excessive load by a simpler system constitution in a railway vehicle under the articulated truck system. SOLUTION: The articulated truck 52 (two axle truck) having front and rear wheels 52C, 52D is arranged so as to straddle on vehicle bodies C<SB>1</SB>, C<SB>2</SB>of the first vehicle and the second vehicle. The front and rear vehicle bodies C<SB>1</SB>, C<SB>2</SB>are supported by the articulated truck 52 through air springs 52A, 52B. The other side of the vehicle body C<SB>1</SB>is supported by the truck 51 (two axle truck) having front and rear wheels 51C, 51D through air springs 51A, 51B. Further, the other side of the vehicle body C<SB>2</SB>is supported by the truck 53 (two axle truck) having front and rear wheels 53C, 53D through air springs 53A, 53B. Static converters 41, 42 are provided on a route of air pipes 21, 22 and are constituted so as to input an internal pressure signal AS1 of the air springs 51A, 51B and an internal pressure signal AS2 of the air springs 52A, 52B to an operation processing unit 3.
