PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nailing machine capable of eliminating a machining process after forming an exhaust cover, capable of reducing manufacturing processes and manufacturing costs, and also, capable of initially reducing an impact load due to a piston striking exhaust valve rubber. SOLUTION: A fixing part 11a of the exhaust valve rubber 11 is provided with a columnar guide diameter part 11c, which has a second diameter d2 substantially equal to or smaller than a first diameter d1, and a columnar latching diameter part 11b having a third diameter d3 continuous to the columnar guide diameter part 11c and larger than the guide diameter part 11c. The columnar latching diameter part 11b of the exhaust valve rubber 11 is inserted to a guide hole part 5d while making the columnar latching diameter part 11b smaller than the guide hole part 5d of the exhaust cover. The guide diameter part 11c of the exhaust valve rubber 11 is located in the guide hole part 5d. Consequently, the exhaust valve rubber 11 is fitted to the exhaust cover 5a.
