PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freely detachable hood apparatus for preventing adhesion and dropping of paint and others scattering in a paint coating operation or the like such as painting. SOLUTION: A freely detachable hood apparatus comprises a clip 1, a plate body in a strip form 2 fixed in the clip 1 and a sheet 3 mounted in a sheet mounting portion 2b of the plate body in a strip form 2, wherein a tip 2c of the plate body in a strip form 2 is provided protruding from the inside of a base 11b of a clamp 11 of the clip 1 to a clamping portion 12a of the other clamp 12 so that an object 6 can be interposed and held together with the clip 1, and a hood is formed by mounting a plurality of the clips 1 and the plate bodies in a strip form 2 at a predetermined interval in a hood installation place by means of the clips 1 and stretching a sheet 3 between the respective sheet mounting portion 2b of the clips 1 and the plate bodies in a strip form 2 that are thus mounted in a plurality of places.
