PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling-type power spreader traveling in a field without damaging paddy rice, capable of carrying out spreading operation of a granular or liquid material to be spread such as agrochemical and fertilizer while traveling on levees or ridges, and capable of entering a neighboring field by climbing over the levee or the ridge. SOLUTION: The traveling-type power spreader is constituted as follows. A body frame 12 supported by a right and left pair of crawler traveling devices 11L and 11R is formed into a portal shape to enable the traveling while spanning the paddy rice P, and the traveling while grounding both crawler traveling devices 11L and 11R on the top surfaces of the levees and the ridges G1. The crawler traveling devices 11L and 11R are constituted so as to be vertically turnable by centering driving sprockets 15 of both the crawler traveling devices 11L and 11R as turning centers to facilitate the climbing over operation of the levee and ridge G1.
