PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized opening and closing angle sensor that does not have the need of arranging the constitution in the surrounding of the axis of the inside of a hinge part. SOLUTION: The angle sensor for sensing an opening and closing angle of a first member 1 and a second member 2 opened and closed via a hinge includes a magnet 4, arranged on an end face 12 of a hinge part 11 of the first member 1 and having a magnetization direction in a face orthogonal to a direction extended by the hinge part 11, and a magnetic sensor 5, arranged on the second member 2 and for sensing a magnetic field of the magnet 4, having a sensing direction B in the face parallel to the magnetization direction A of the magnet 4. The angle detectors detects the opening and closing angle, by detecting the magnet field components in the detecting direction B, changing by accompanying rotation of the magnet 4 by the magnetic sensor 5. Since the magnet for sensing the angle is arranged on the end face of the hinge part, the magnet need not be arranged in the surrounding of the axis of the hinge part, and size reduction of the casing is facilitated, by eliminating the hindrance in the size-reduction of the hinge part.
