<p>The apparatus has a microcomputer, a contact element and sensors (20,30) for measuring pulse and body fat content. A multifunctional element (40) has input elements for inputting the weight and a display. Data such as distance, speed, slope etc. which affect the intensity of the exercise can be input to the multifunctional element and stored. The data from the sensors and the input data provide a fitness profile which is compared with average age-dependent profiles. The fitness age can be derived from the comparison and displayed.</p> |
