<p>In an EL display device, a frame in a display area is narrowed. The EL display device is provided with an element substrate (2) composed of glass and the like, a light emitting section (1) provided by disposing organic EL elements arranged in matrix on the element substrate (2), and a sealing substrate (3) composed of glass and the like. The sealing substrate (3) is arranged to face the element substrate (2). A first sealing material (4), which is a sealing material surrounding the light emitting section (1) and bonding (adhering) the element substrate (2) with the sealing substrate (3), is provided between the element substrate (2) and the sealing substrate (3). On an outer side of the first sealing material (4), a second sealing material (8) is bonded (adhered) or arranged to cover an outer circumference part of the first sealing material (4).</p> |
