PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce attachment of ash to an overfiring air port for two-stage combustion of a boiler applying two-stage combustion method. SOLUTION: A gas of low temperature or a liquid sealing medium is supplied to an expanding portion of an outlet of the overfiring air port for two-stage combustion. As the sealing medium, a part of the overfiring air, boiler exhaust gas, air, water and high-pressure steam are used. A seal port is formed on the expanding portion to supply the sealing medium. As the expanding portion of the overfiring air port is sealed by the sealing medium, the attachment of ash can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
