PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that colors can not b obtained with conventional components for a vehicle. SOLUTION: The component for a vehicle 1 is structured of a base material 2 of synthetic resin, a first adhesive film 3 formed on the surface of the base material 2 of the synthetic resin, a reflecting film 4 formed on the surface of the first adhesive film 3, a protective film 5 formed on the surface of the reflecting film 4, a second adhesive film 6 formed on the surface of the protective film 5, and a colored coating film 7 formed on the surface of the second adhesive film 6. As a result, the component for the vehicle 1 can have color as it has the colored coating film on the second adhesive layer 6. Further, the component for the vehicle 1 is excellent in durability since the colored coating film 7 will not be peeled off the base material 2 due to the first adhesive film 3 and the second adhesive film 6.
