PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens device capable of preventing a cam mechanism for moving a movable lens from getting complicated and cost from rising in arranging the movable lens near a mount so as to realize miniaturization, and to provide a camera system with which the lens device can be attachably/detachably replaced. SOLUTION: The lens device is equipped with: a lens holding lens barrel 25 holding a lens positioned nearer to an imaging surface side than a mount abutting surface (M surface); a cam barrel 21 having a cam part for driving the lens holding lens barrel; and a guiding barrel 22 having a guide part for guiding the movement of the lens holding lens barrel. The cam part of the cam barrel and the guide part of the guiding barrel are partially, at least, arranged nearer to the imaging surface side than the mount abutting surface (M surface) of the lens device.
