PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the same image visible in any viewing directions without causing changes in colors on viewing a liquid crystal display apparatus. SOLUTION: The display control method of a liquid crystal display apparatus to display an image on a liquid crystal panel includes steps of: (S1) acquiring the position information of a viewer with respect to the liquid crystal panel; (S2) calculating the viewing direction of the viewer with respect to the liquid crystal panel by using the position information; (S4, S6) computing color reproduction characteristics in the viewing direction derived from the viewing direction of the viewer with respect to the liquid crystal panel and from color reproduction characteristics data of the liquid crystal panel preliminarily measured in a plurality of viewing directions; and (S5) correcting color signals to display an image according to the color reproduction characteristics obtained by computation and displaying the image on the liquid crystal panel.
