PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique capable of easily testing a circuit board for outputting the drive signal of an image formation section, such as a liquid crystal panel in a projector. SOLUTION: A circuit board inspection system 100 comprises a circuit board 10 as a test object, a signal converter 20, and an image display device 30. The circuit board 10 outputs a drive signal DS for driving a liquid crystal panel to be obtained, by applying phase expansion to an input analog image signal VS1. The signal converter 20 performs time multiplexing of the drive signal DS and converts it into an image signal VS2 of a format outputtable by the display device 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
