PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric generator for a vehicle capable of performing stable electric power supply even during an idle stop by a thermoelectric module by ensuring always sufficient temperature difference. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric module 40 is provided between the upper reaches of an exhaust pipe 36 of an engine 1 and a hydraulic line 22 connecting a primary pulley 12 and a secondary pulley 14 of a continuously variable transmission 10, an oil pump 20 and an electric oil pump 24.
