"Method for transmitting uniformly distributed data in a MIMO telecommunication system"The present invention relates to a method for transmitting data by means of Nt transmitting antennas over comunication channels featuring Ni inputs. The method according to the invention includes a bit interleaving step involving: bit demultiplexing DMXS, sequence interleaving SRIS, sequence storing and segmenting, segment permutation SPS, and sequence allocation ALS for forming groups G 1 , G 2 of Nt permutated bit sequences Psqj intended to be transmitted through Nt channels allocated to a same bit rank for all transmitting antennas. The invention ensures an essentially homogeneous distribution of the encoded data bits over the different channel inputs, and thus favours data diversity.
