Amplifier contains input (LO) for HF input signal, input (VCTRL) for control signal and output (RF out). Between supply (VD) and reference potential (GND) terminals is located current path including amplifying transistor (1) coupled to reference potential terminal and to input for HF input signal.Current path includes also cascode transistor (2) with input for control signal and regulated path, whose first terminal is linked to amplifier output, while second terminal is coupled to second terminal of amplifier transistor. Independent claims are included for control module with controllable amplifier and use of latter.
