The freezing of the carrier matrix (18) is carried out to -100[deg]C for 50 minutes using liquid nitrogen. The carrier matrix; is made of polyurethane fleece; exhibits a integrated capillary membrane (20); has a surface area of 1.25 mm2>; and is arranged in a housing that has inlets (22, 26) for bringing liquid and gas medium and outlets for exhausting the liquid and gas medium through the settled carrier matrix.
