<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer replenishing container which has stable unsealing performance and of which the manufacturing cost is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The developer storage container has a developer storage section, an ejection port, and a sealing member sealing the ejection port. The sealing member hermetically closes the ejection port and its one end is turned up as a free end. The free end is drawn out through a regulation part for regulating the direction orthogonal to the drawing out direction of the sealing member and is so configured as to unseal the ejection port by pulling the free end and stripping the sealing member. The sealing member is elongatable by plastic deformation toward the drawing out direction of the free end and the reduction of the width of the sealing member orthogonal to the elongating direction is made possible by the elongation. The sealing member is so constituted that the width in the direction orthogonal to the drawing out direction of the sealing member while hermetically closing the ejection port is wider than the regulation width in the same direction of the regulation part and is fixed around the ejection port and that the sealing member, when elongated, is narrowed down to the width equal to the regulation width or below and is then drawn out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
