<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a new application management system. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with a control means of controlling whether constituent equipment constituting the image forming apparatus is allowed or disallowed to enter power-saving mode.
