<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust mask having a superior storage property folded into a compact and flat shape, at the same time developed in the both of vertical and horizontal directions when being worn to produce a wide inner space, reducing the breathing resistance, fixing the shape when being worn, and comfortably worn for a long period of time by retaining a distance between the nasal cavity parts and the labia oris part. <P>SOLUTION: A mask base material is processed into a covered binding shape by using a nonwoven fabric sheet folded into a trapezoidal shape as a base material, joining the upper sides and the ends of the both hypotenuses of the trapezoids together and forming the bottom side into an opening. This dust mask can be three-dimensionally developed and folded simultaneously in the vertical and horizontal direction by previously providing embossed lines on the nonwoven fabric sheet to form triangles using the upper side of the trapezoid as the bottom and the perpendicular lines of the triangles on the nonwoven fabric sheet, and vertically folding it inward the mask along the embossed line to provide a center-broken pleated part at the mask central part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
