摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a method for controlling passage of a current through a heating element with which power requirement necessary for maintaining a white turbid state of a photochromic glass is alleviated. SOLUTION: The method for controlling the passage of the current through the heating element in a window system formed by combining a photochromic glass and the heating element comprises intermittently passing the current through the heating element so as to make the photochromic body have a temperature higher than a phase transition temperature of the photochromic body to the white turbid state in passing the current, in the window system having the photochromic glass and the heating element to rise a temperature of the photochromic body, and in the case the temperature of the photochromic body is elevated with the heating element so as to make the photochromic body assume the white turbid state.
