PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly safe fixing device in which warming up is possible in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The fixing device is constituted of a rotary heating body 10 using an endless belt, a roller type rotary pressurizing body 20 and a roller type exterior rotary heating body 30. The rotary heating body 10 is provided with an electromagnetic induction heater 11 around it and a part facing the rotary pressurizing body 20 is backed up so that the shape of an arc is maintained by a back up member 12. The rotary pressurizing body 20 is provided with an elastic layer 22 on the surface of a metallic core bar 21, has a nip formed by being brought into contact with the rotary heating body 10 and is rotated and driven in rotation in the direction of an arrow A. The exterior rotary heating body 30 has a heater 32 integrated into a metallic core bar 31 and forms the nip by being brought into contact with the rotary pressurizing body 20.
