PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device for a silver halide color paper, which (a) rapidly performs a process to hand a finished print to a customer on the spot, (b) requires only a small installation area suitable for a mini laboratory, (c) keeps stability of a process liquid with less deterioration in the process liquid even in a slack period, and (d) always keeps normal image quality. SOLUTION: The developing device for a silver halide color paper has respective processing tanks for processes with a color developing liquid, a bleaching liquid, a liquid having fixing ability, and a rinsing liquid, and also has a photosensitive material passage between the processing tank of a liquid having fixing ability and a first processing tank of a rising liquid (preferably also between the consecutive tanks from a second rinsing tank), which is in a liquid-tight sealed state to allow a photosensitive material to pass through.
