PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproduction apparatus in which the time required before reproduction and introduction (sound production) after a change of a disk and selection of music, is reduced, the immediate reproduction after the disk change can be performed without interrupting sounds and when the same music is recorded to a plurality of the disks, the music can be omitted from the target for the selection of the music at the time of random reproduction. SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with an operation detecting means 3 which has a disk reproducing equipment and audio equipment other than the same, and detects the operation of the audio equipment, read ahead memory means 6, 7, 8 which read ahead and stores the information recorded in the disk reproduced by the disk reproduction equipment during the operation of the audio equipment other than the disk based on the output of the operation detecting means 3, and information reproduction means 9, 11, 12 which reproduce the music corresponding to the read ahead information stored in the read ahead memory means during changing of the music of the disk or changing over of the disk based on the output of the read ahead memory means 3.
