PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet apparatus or the like which can appropriately control a wiper interference amount according to a passed time from a precedent cleaning time. SOLUTION: The liquid jet apparatus 10 has a wiping member 23 which wipes after cleaning a nozzle opening formation face 30a by interfering with the nozzle opening formation face 30a where nozzle openings 31 are formed, and an interference amount adjusting means 32 which adjusts the interference amount G1 in a vertical direction to the nozzle opening formation face 30a at the time when the wiping member 23 wipes the nozzle opening formation face 30a. The liquid jet apparatus 10 includes: a passed time measuring means 34 which measures the passed time from the precedent cleaning; and a wiping condition changing means or the like which changes the interference amount G1 of the nozzle opening formation face 30a and the wiping member 23, and a relative velocity of the nozzle opening formation face 30a and the wiping member 23 on the basis of the passed time.
