<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently regenerate a particulate filter and to improve thermal efficiency of an engine by balancing energy balance. <P>SOLUTION: In a control system for a hybrid engine, the hybrid engine with a filter is provided with an engine 11, a motor 12 converting mechanical power to electric power and storing electric power to a battery 15 and driven by electric power stored in the battery, the particulate filter 24 collecting particulate filter in exhaust gas, an accumulation quantity estimation means 16, 16a estimating accumulation quantity of particulate matter, and a controller 16 controlling the engine and the motor based on a value estimated by the accumulation estimation means. The controller controls the engine and the motor to raise temperature of the particulate filter and burn particulate matter, and to charge the battery and store electric power exceeding predetermined quantity to the battery when quantity estimated by the accumulation quantity estimation means exceeds a predetermined threshold and electric power stored in the battery is predetermined quantity or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
