PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which uses a rare earth metal containing organic, inorganic complex in which (1) possibility of high concentration doping of a rare-earth metal fluorescence material, (2) suppression of quenching, (3) securing optical transparency, and (4) securing of cost benefit, are satisfied, applies the complex as a phosphor for the light-emitting device which converts electrical energy to light energy, and in particular, uses an LED with superior in coloring properties and cost benefit as a light-emitting element.
SOLUTION: The light emitting device uses the rare earth metal fluorescence material which consists of an inorganic dispersed phase comprising at least one rare earth metal and another metal kind which forms a configuration therewith via oxygen. This rare earth metal tendency material is used for forming a complex with an optically transparent organic polymer. Preferably, the diameter of the inorganic dispersed phase is 0.1 to 1,000 nm, as consisting of the rare earth metal with another metal kind configured via oxygen. Preferably, the proportion of the rare earth metal is 90 wt% or lower as solid content in conversion of total amount of the organic polymer and the rare earth metal dispersed phase.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
