<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of an electrochemical cell by uniformizing its temperature distribution. <P>SOLUTION: As to this electrochemical cell comprising an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte 1 and negative and positive electrodes 2 and 3 formed on both the surfaces thereof, respective electrode overvoltages are changed by structuring the positive and positive electrodes so that they differ from each other in electrode materials and in electrode structures, thereby correcting an imbalance between the positive and negative electrode overvoltages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
