PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-moisture-permeable cellulose derivative film with low Rth(retardation) in its thickness direction, and to provide a composition useful for making the film.

SOLUTION: The composition comprises at least one cellulose derivative and at least one of compounds of the respective general formulas(1) to (3). The film formed from the composition is also provided.
