PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate keeping a separation distance between optical axes comprising an optical curtain nearly constant between adjacent multiple optical axis photoelectric sensors. SOLUTION: A plurality of optical axes are disposed at even intervals with prescribed pitches from one end part to the other end part of a length direction in a long and thin exterior case. The exterior case comprises a metallic case body 2 which has a hollow structure with almost rectangular shape in cross section and of which the both ends are opened and a terminal member 5 coupled to each end of the case body 2 and houses at least two optical axes therein. The member 5 includes a base-end part 7 having an exterior appearance shape of the substantially same as that of the body 2, a tip part 6 on the side opposed to the base-end part 7 and a step part 8 between the tip part 6 and the base end part 7, and a coupling port inserting an external connector 39 to the step part.
