PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut down power consumption by optimizing the operation of heat medium pumps and heat medium apparatuses to meet an external load, and at the same time to avoid unstable operation by securing a flow rate passed to the heat source apparatuses. SOLUTION: In this one pump type heat source equipment, the pump heads of the heat medium pumps 3A-3C are made changeable, and a flow meter 10 for measuring the circulating flow rate of an external load apparatus 5a, a flow meter 11 for measuring an amount of water passed to the heat source apparatuses 2A-2C, a differential pressure gauge 12 for measuring a differential pressure in an interval striding across a bypass valve 9 are disposed. In addition, this heat source equipment is equipped with a control device 15 controlling the pump heads of the heat medium pumps 3A-3C based on the circulating flow rate while controlling the amount of water passed to the heat source apparatus by the opening of the bypass valve 9, and adding modification to the opening of the bypass valve so as to cancel influence of the frequency change of the heat medium pumps 3A-3C while suppressing mutual interference by adding the modification to the frequency of the heat medium pumps 3A-3C so as to cancel influence of the change of the bypass valve opening.
