PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition and pilot device for a service-dedicated incinerator used for an incineration memorial service, solving a problem where the service-dedicated incinerator allowing the incineration memorial service is strongly requested because the incineration memorial service of a stupa, a memorial service tower, a floral tribute, an offering or the like for ancestor consolation cannot be performed and is disposed of together with trash in a temple in late years. SOLUTION: (1) This ignition and pilot device is provided with a pilot device 5 wherein the periphery of flame 3 of a pilot 2 is wrapped with wire netting 4 inside the incinerator 1 for a service. (2) The ignition and pilot device is formed with an ignition hole 6 leading to the pilot device, is provided with an ignition passage 7 in the ignition hole, and is attached with an ignition door 8 openable and closable to the ignition passage.
