摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a storage material having a nanoporous carbon structure with an expanded interlayer distance compared to a conventional graphite. <P>SOLUTION: The nanoporous carbon structure material is manufactured by a method comprising the steps of: (1) oxidizing graphite to form graphite oxide; (2) fixing the interlayer distance of the graphite oxide; (3) adding a hydroxy hydrocarbon compound between carbon layers in order to maintain the carbon layers having a fixed interlayer distance; (4) allowing a material by which the interlayer distance is fixed to react with the hydroxy hydrocarbon compound added at the step (3); (5) removing the unreacted hydroxy hydrocarbon compound; (6) carbonizing the remaining hydroxy hydrocarbon compound to form a carbonized product; and (7) removing the remaining material by which the interlayer distance is fixed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
