<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for an automobile having a molded part capable of demonstrating sufficient shock-absorbing effect by a bumper projection part and sufficient seal effect by a lip part. <P>SOLUTION: The weather strip for automobile has a molded part 11 integrated with a bumper projection part 14 having a cavity part 15 on a mounting part side on a weather strip body 12 mounted on the mounting part 1 of a door panel or the like in order to mitigate an impact during the elastic contact with an elastic contact part 2 of a body panel or the like when a door is closed. The molded part 11 is formed of a flexible material, a bumper element 16 formed of a hard material is filled in the cavity part 15, and a clip part 17 integrated with the bumper element 16 is inserted in and fixed to a hole part 1a formed in the mounting part 1 with the weather strip body 12 mounted thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
